President and CEO of Scriba Nanotecnologie Srl since 2009. He is an expert in technology transfer and entrepreneurship, as well as CEO of AlmaCube (the incubator of University of Bologna), board member of PNICube (Academic Association of Italian Incubators) and Contract Professor of the University of Bologna.
Former president of Scriba (2005-2009). He is a Full Professor of Chemistry at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, has been a Research Director at CNR-ISMN Bologna institute and Contract Professor of Nanotechnology at University of Bologna.
He is Senior Scientist at CNR-ISMN Bologna. His research spans unconventional lithography of multifunctional materials, applications of dewetting phenomena, nanoscale information storage and electrochemistry.
She is part of the R&D team and she joined Scriba Nanotecnologie in 2014. She got a PhD in Chemistry in 2013 and a master degree in Products, Materials and Processes for Industrial Chemistry in 2009 from the University of Bologna. Giulia’s current research and competences are focused on nano- and micro-fabrication processes, unconventional lithographic techniques, as well as fabrication and characterization of biomolecules and functional materials.
Joined Scriba Nanotecnologie in 2006 and she is the responsible of the Administrative Office. She received a degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Perugia and has a vast experience on European and National project’s financial reporting.
He is part of the R&D team of Scriba Nanotecnologie since 2009. Pierpaolo got a PhD in Chemistry (2009) and a Degree in Environmental (Chemical) Engineering (2005) from the University of Bologna. His competences are design, fabrication and integration of microfluidics devices and patterns, finite element calculations, development of unconventional lithography techniques and laser prototyping on new materials for organic electronics.
Joined Scriba Nanotecnologie in July 2009. She got a Degree in Biology from the University of Genova (1996), where she specialized in preparation techniques of biological samples and structural research with optical and scanning electron and transmission microscopes. At Scriba, Serena is responsible for external and commercial relations, as well with high focus in testing new materials and developing new lines of products.
Joined Scriba’s R&D team in September 2015 in the framework of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action “iSwitch”. He holds Master Degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Algarve (Portugal) and is currently attending Laboratorio di Elettronica Organica in University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in order to pursue research for doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Biscarini. In Scriba, Vitaliy is focused on electrical characterization of organic field-effect transistors fabricated by laser lithography and flexographic printing on various flexible polymeric substrates.
Joined Scriba’s R&D team in February 2018 in the framework of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action “iSwitch”. She holds Master Degree in Nanoelectronic Systems from the Technical University of Dresden (Germany). In Scriba, Meenu’s main focus resides on the microfabrication of electrodes exhibiting a variety of geometries using several precursors like gold nanoparticles, conductive polymers or graphene oxide.
Joined Scriba’s team in April 2018. She received a Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Naples “Federico II” (2012), and in 2017 she got a PhD in “Industrial Product and Process Engineering” at the same university with collaboration with the University of Strasbourg. Her research interests include the synthesis and characterization of colloidal photonic crystal and magnetite nanostructure for use in chemical sensors based on fiber optic technology.
Joined Scriba’s team in July 2018. He received a Master Degree in Applied Physics for Medicine and Environment at the University of Bologna in 2017. At Scriba, Andrea has a research role in physics field, by providing software solutions and participating in European and National projects with focus on automated vision systems and image analysis applied in industrial machinery.
